Romsey Hospital


Romsey Hospital provides a wide range of physical health services there are also two rehabilitation wards on the site. 

There are two wards at Romsey Hospital, Nightingale and Chichester One is for male patients and one for female patients There are 19 beds in total.

The service aims to rehabilitate or re-able people to return to their own homes within two weeks of their admission/transfer, or where people are not able to return home to have undertaken appropriate assessment and liaised with relevant services to find an appropriate place for them.

Ward visiting times vary, please call the ward to check the current visiting guidance and to book an appointment.  A maximum of two visitors per bed at a time are permitted and you are requested not to visit if you have signs or symptoms of any infection.

Please note, we aim for quiet mealtimes and rest times, staff will be able to advise when these are. Sometimes staff may have to ask you to leave due to clinical reasons, we really appreciate your support with this.

Plebotomy services are now appointment only to enable social distancing and reduce waiting times for patients. Patients can choose where and when they have their blood test. Appointments can be made by GPs, outpatient clinics or by patients.

To book an appointment, please call 023 8120 4877 or visit the online booking system. The service is available  Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm.

All patients should bring their blood form with them to the appointment, as the Phlebotomist may not be able to print it for them.

Parking

Parking: Limited, free on-site parking available, including Disabled bays and dropping off zone.

Can we politely request that you avoid parking in nearby roads, like The Crescent and the adjoining Nerquis Close.
