Mental health reporting
Journalists looking for information on the most appropriate ways of reporting emotional crises or mental health issues - including suicide - may like to refer to the guidelines by the Samaritans which are supported by most media organisations and professional bodies.

Local NHS worker recognised for outstanding diabetes care
30 March 2023Charmaine Watts - a local NHS healthcare worker from Gosport - has been awarded a coveted national ‘Chief Nursing Officer Award’ for healthcare support workers. Charmaine, who works for Southern Health, was nominated for her outstanding work providing care to vulnerable diabetes patients and education to support staff in care homes.

Trust charity secures £143k funding for ‘Create Wellbeing Eat Well’ project
