Society of Radiographers Strikes July 2023

Staff who are members of the Society of Radiographers are currently taking part a two-day strike from 8am on 25 July until 8am on 27 July 2023.

We support and respect the right of our staff to take part in this lawful industrial action.

Our priority is the keeping our patients and our services safe throughout this industrial action. We have been working with our staff and union partners to manage the impact this may have on patients, visitors, and our colleagues to help us safely manage the impact of industrial action.

Please continue to attend any scheduled appointments unless you have been told not to do so.

Please help us to keep our emergency services available to those who need it.

Where to go for non-urgent and urgent care

If you need medical help but it's not urgent, then your local Pharmacy, Minor Injuries Unit or GP will be best placed to help. If unsure where to get support  contact NHS 111 who can provide advice and direct you to the best place.

If you are in need of urgent mental Health support, please contact NHS 111 and speak to our Mental Health Triage Service. You can find a list of services available for anyone needing mental health support on our help in a crisis webpage.
