Alton Community Hospital

Alton Community Hospital is a small hospital in central Hampshire. The hospital has two wards, Anstey ward that focuses on rehabilitation/pallative care and Inwood ward, that specialises in rehabilitation and recovery. A number of community services and teams are also based here including podiatry, tissue viability services and catheter clinics. 

Visiting hours are 2pm-5pm and 6pm-7pm - no booking is required.

Visiting outside of these hours can be arranged with prior agreement from the Ward Manager.

We have protected meals times on the ward between 12.30pm-1.30pm and 5pm-6pm.

Anstey Ward

Anstey ward is a GP-led community bed facility for rehabilitation (including stroke rehabilitation) and end of life palliative care. Telephone 02382 310410 Take a look at our Coronavirus Information pages to find out about our latest visiting restrictions.

Inwood ward 

Inwood ward provides rehabilitation and recovery to patients transferring from the local acute hospital, within a purpose built, community-based environment. To contact the team directly please call 02382 310 433.

Rail - Alton station (about two miles away) has rail links with Farnham, Aldershot, Woking and London
