World Suicide Prevention Day 2024
10 September 2024Tuesday 10 September is World Suicide Prevention Day and Southern Health, in partnership with Hampshire County Council, are re-launching their NHS Life Cards. All week we will be sharing stories of people with lived experience of suicide, aiming to help anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts get access to help and support available across Hampshire, IOW and nationally.

6 September 2024This year World Suicide Prevention Day is on Tuesday 10 September and we will be sharing videos of people with lived experience and publicising our Life Cards throughout September. One of our key aims focuses on sharing vital information regarding suicide prevention so people know where to go for help if they, or someone they know, is feeling suicidal.

22 August 2024A partnership on the Isle of Wight between local voluntary sector organisations including Alzheimer Café IW, Age UKIW, Carers IW, Healthwatch IW, the Isle of Wight Council, Isle of Wight NHS Trust, NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight, and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust - are delighted to have been shortlisted for a ‘Place-based Partnership & Integrated Care Award’ by the prestigious national Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards for their groundbreaking work on the Isle of Wight Dementia Strategy.
