Isle of Wight Services

IOW community rapid response team_webpage.jpgWe provide a range of community, mental health and learning disability services across the Isle of Wight. Community services are delivered to patients at home, in local community hubs and at St. Mary’s Hospital. We believe in being able to access services outside of hospital giving patients greater choice and control over their treatment.

These services were previously provided by the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and have transferred to Southern Health, so that we are ready to come together with Solent NHS Trust to form the new Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust later in the year.  To read more about this work visit (Fusion website).  Isle of Wight services will continue to be delivered locally on the Island by the same people, in the same locations.

We look at each patient’s individual needs when planning care and treatment and you can expect to receive a range of care, support and treatment.

A full list of services are found below:

There are a number of services that are transferring across from the Isle of Wight some services have pages which you will find above. Below is a document that contains the full list of services

Feedback helps us know where things have gone well, respond to any problems, and to keep improving our services in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

It is really important to hear feedback, and concerns from patients, carers and families.  The best place to share your feedback is with your care team directly but you can also share your feedback with our Carers and Patients Support Hub who can listen and respond to your feedback and direct you to the right service.

If you are unhappy with your care or service and do not want to raise it with your care team then you can also speak to a member of our complaints team and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
