The Community Pre-hab Service’s primary aim is to ensure those waiting for a surgical procedure are in the best health in preparation for their surgery, and to avoid delays that occur due to cancellations on the day.
Our team comprises of a Senior Community Pre-hab Nurse & Team lead, two Healthcare Assistants and an Administrator. Working closely as a team we aim to provide an efficient and effective service with the service user at the centre of all we do.
What we do
The team will also support you in a holistic way to offer support and advice on your general health and wellbeing and can signpost people onto other services.
Patient health screen assessments are carried out in the home using a telehealth system and reviewed by a nurse. We also offer pre booked appointments at 3 community POD locations. (West Wight Sports Centre /Aspire Ryde/Arreton Community Centre).
