Junior Doctors, who are members of the BMA, are currently taking part in strike action, starting from 7am on 11 April 2023 until 7am on 15 April 2023, in an ongoing dispute between unions and the Government over pay. Junor Doctors, working for Southern Health, are eligible to take part in these strikes.
We support and respect the right of our staff to take part in this lawful industrial action.
Our priority is the keeping our patients and our services safe throughout this industrial action. We have been working with our staff and union partners to manage the impact this may have on patients, visitors, and our colleagues.To help us safely manage the impact of industrial action, some routine and non-urgent appointments and procedures, in our services, may have been rescheduled. All patients affected should have already been contacted. If we have not contacted you, please attend your appointment as planned.

If you need medical help but it's not urgent, then your local Pharmacy, Minor Injuries Unit or GP will be best placed to help. If unsure where to get support contact NHS 111 who can provide advice and direct you to the best place.
