RADAR STUDY- Research into Antipsychotic Discontinuation and Reduction randomised controlled trial.

The RADAR study assess the benefits and risks of a flexible, supported strategy for antipsychotic dose reduction and possible discontinuation. In particular, it will evaluate effects on social functioning as well as relapse.

Participants will be randomised to either the reduction arm or the standard care arm with a 50/50 chance of being in either. Participants in the reduction arm will work closely with the research team and their care team to reduce their medication.

Participants will be asked to go through some cognitive assessments with the researchers. Participants will be assessed at baseline, followed up at 6, 12 and 24 months. There will be a £20 cash payment to the participants for their time and transport costs.
