Larry was diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment and decided to get involved in research at MARC to help learn more about memory problems and dementia and find better treatments. Together with his wife, Larry and Rita regularly visit MARC throughout the course of the trial and kindly offered their experience of participating in a trial to inspire others to get involved.
Throughout Dementia Action Week (20th-25th May), we follow Larry & Rita's journey in a clinical trial.
Today's clips answer:
1. Why did you decide to get involved in research?
2. What did you need to consider when choosing to take part?
Tomorrow, we find out more about the specific trial Larry is participating in. Stay tuned.
