We aim to provide an individualised service to each person in order that they can maximise their independence and daily living skills.
Typically, we would expect that everyone at Crowlin House would want to and be able to move on to independent living within an agreed time period. We can offer a range of support including:
- outcome based support plan
social activities such as sports, art, crafts, gardening and social events
other development opportunities in the community.
All our activities are designed to enhance ability, self-esteem and social interactions.
Residents at Crowlin House access their mental health support from the local Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The staff at Crowlin will work with the resident, CMHT, Care managers and any other relevant professionals to devise support plans and risk assessments regarding a variety of purposes, settings and activities.
Family and friends are encouraged to visit regularly and maintain contact by letter or telephone when visiting is not possible.
Visitors are welcome at all reasonable times, and are to let a member of staff know of their arrival and departure. For security and fire safety reasons visitors must sign the visitor’s book on each occasion.
Visitors must vacate the building by 10pm.
