Our services

The services we provide include:

Ford Ward

The Ford Ward is a 15 bedded unit that includes a day room, dining room and therapy room. People come to this unit from an acute hospital for rehabilitation, when they are recovering from an illness or surgery but are not quite well enough to be at home yet.

The team working here is multidisciplinary and includes physicians, nurses, social services and therapists. We provide a safe and welcoming environment, and we work with the patient and their family or carers to establish what the best treatment is, involving them in decisions and choices about their care.

There are a range of other services available which are provided by different NHS Trusts, including Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

These include:

  • Podiatry
  • Ear, nose and throat
  • Audiology
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Continence Service
  • Dermatology
  • Stroke Clinic
  • Action on Hearing
  • Dietitian
