It’s normal to have worries and anxieties as a teenager. This may be anything from friendship issues to exam stress.

We can all occasionally feel low but sometimes the feeling may get worse and impact on our day to day lives if this is happening to you it will help to speak to someone.

Sometimes when you are worried or have a problem it can be difficult to know what to do. You  may find it hard to know why you feel sad, worried or confused, or to know where to turn to.

If you feel unable to talk to your parents, adult that you trust, or teacher, the links on this page offer support and advice however your GP or School Nurse will be able to advise you about local services that are available and referrals to specialist services.

If you have any serious concerns about your emotional health please discuss these with your GP.
