Free childcare and education for 2 to 4 year olds:

2 year olds: Some 2 year olds can get free early education and childcare. This scheme allows eligible children to receive free early education in an early years setting or childminder from the funding period after their second birthday. This is part of a national offer from the Department for Education (DfE) and has been developed to improve outcomes for identified two year olds who would benefit from access to high quality early years and childcare provision. To see if you are eligible visit the Hampshire County Council website.

3-4 year olds: All three to four year olds in England are entitled to claim vouchers for free early education or childcare. You can start claiming free childcare after your child turns three. The date you can claim will depend on when their birthday is. Contact the Hampshire County Council website link above for more information.
