The Multi-Agency Stalking Partnership (MASP) is a collaborative service involving Southern Health, Hampshire & IOW Constabulary, Hampshire & IOW Probation, and Stop Domestic Abuse (victim advocacy) - aimed at addressing stalking by adults residing in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Our objective is to reduce the risk of further stalking behaviour and improve the psychological wellbeing of the service user, whilst keeping the safety of the survivor and their dependents at the centre of our work.

MASP aims to reduce reoffending, increase psychological well-being, and raise awareness of stalking through information sharing, training, and clinical interventions.
The MASP Southern Health team includes Clinical and Forensic Psychology and Psychiatry provision. The team works to reduce and manage the risks associated with stalking across the criminal justice sector, as well as contribute to the evidence and knowledge base of working with stalking.
Stalking is "a pattern of fixated and obsessive behaviour which is repeated, persistent, intrusive & causes fear of violence or engenders alarm and distress in the victim." (Suzy Lamplugh Trust, 2016)
What we do
We provide advice and consultation to Police & Probation Offender Managers - including formulation of the stalking behaviour and management recommendations as well as assessments, psychological interventions, signposting and training to colleagues in the criminal justice system.
Accessing the service
Individuals can be referred to the Multi-Agency Stalking Project through their Probation Offender Manager or a Police Officer from Hampshire Constabulary.
To access support from the Multi-Agency Stalking Project, a person needs to be over 18 years old and living in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight and convicted of, or engaging in, stalking behaviour.
The Multi-Agency Stalking Partnership is unable to provide direct intervention to individuals currently under police investigation, but advice and consultation to Probation Practitioners can be offered. Please note, the service does not care co-ordinate.
