Ford Ward

Ford Ward is a 15 bedded unit which consists of three bays and three side rooms. It has a large day room, dining room and therapy room which are all conducive to rehabilitation. The team working here are multidisciplinary and include physicians, nurses, social worker and therapists.

Patients are admitted from Poole General Hospital, Bournemouth Hospital, Salisbury District Hospital, Winchester Hospital and Southampton General. They are admitted to us for rehab following an acute admission.

Ford Ward aspires to deliver excellent standards of care in an environment that is well organised, has a high standard of cleanliness and has highly trained staff who are experts in their field. We strive to be a unit of excellence that enhances the patient journey by providing an environment which is conducive to rehabilitation. Multidisciplinary teamwork is encouraged with the patient being at the centre of everything we do, and their choice dictating the paths we take.
