Our Services

Alton Community Hospital is a small hospital in central Hampshire. The Hospital has one ward, Antsey Ward, and a number of community services and teams are also based there. You can find out more about the services based at the hospital, as well as their contact details, below. Please note that some services require a referral from your GP.   • Antsey Ward
    Anstey ward is a GP-led community bed facility for rehabilitation (including stroke rehabilitation, and end of life palliative care. Visiting Hours are between 2pm-5.30pm and 6.30pm-8.30pm.

  • Podiatry 
    The Alton Podiatry Service's primary role is to resolve or improve painful foot pathology and function, as well as prevent foot ulceration. The service offers a comprehensive range of specialist and clinical interventions. To access the service you must be referred by your GP, Consultant or other Health Care Professional.
  • Intravenous clinic
    The clinic provides IV treatment to patients requiring long term or long courses of antibiotic treatment for their health needs.

  • italk
    italk is our psychological therapy service for Hampshire and treats people experiencing mild to moderate Depression, Panic, OCD, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, PTSD, Generalised Anxiety disorder and phobias. You can self-refer to italk using their website  

  • Integrated Community Team (ICT)
    The team works  to provide care and treatment in individuals homes, or clinics at the hospital and undertake holistic assessments of individuals care needs, developing an individualised treatment and care plan.
  • Tissue Viability Service 
    The Tissue Viability Service provides clinical support, education and guidance. Find out more here. 
  • Wound, Leg and Cathater clinic
    A GP led service for local people, providing specialist care for individuals with wounds, leg ulcers or cathaters.

Road - the hospital is located off the A339 and A31 roads  - follow the signs for the Community Hospital.

Bus - Routes 38 and 64 stop outside the hospital.

Rail - Alton station (about two miles away) has rail links with Farnham, Aldershot, Woking and London.

Parking: On-site and disabled parking is available. Parking is free.

Chaplain visits can be arranged through a local chaplain or one of your choice, please ask the staff for more details.
