Maintaining hope

Don't be surprised by having a bad day. It's to be expected. It's not a sign that you are getting worse, but a normal part of life.

Experiencing setbacks and maintaining hope

Setbacks are often opportunities to learn and practice new skills, and to build resilience toward further setbacks.

Maintaining important life pursuits despite the setbacks.

Dropping out of meaningful activities can add to any painful emotions. Whilst reducing activity level can give us short term relief, in the long term it can lead to a sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction. Keep regular life going as much as possible during a crisis.

Focus on moving in the right direction, rather than the distance to your destination.
