Southampton is a vibrant and well-connected, dynamic city.  £1.6 bn has gone to develop the city with a cultural centre being built and a new £70 million leisure complex with entertainment venues, restaurants, a luxury cinema and a variety of shops.

As part of the Solent, Southampton is a great place to take part in a variety of water and sailing sports. The near-by Isle of Wight is also home to the famous Cowes week sailing event.

With over 50 parks and green spaces within the city you are also in close proximity to New Forest National Park, known for its heathland, forest trails and native ponies.

Southampton is really well connected with London within easy reach by train or car. Our international airport also makes travel to the continent quick and simple.
