Working with children and adolescents with mental health needs

Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services, commonly known as CAMHS, is a term used to describe services that work with children and young people who have difficulty with their emotional and/or behavioural wellbeing.

Working with older people with mental health needs

 Mental health and emotional well-being are as important in older age as at any other time of life.

With increasing rates of Dementia we are passionate about providing the best mental health care for the people we treat with our specialist services.

Working in adult mental health services


Our adult mental health services, sometimes known as AMH, are provided for adults aged 18-65 focus on supporting you in your recovery. 

From secure forensic to eating disorders and psychiatric intensive care (PICU), there is a huge variety within these services. 


Working in community mental health services

We provide a range of community-based mental health services for people who need support for their mental health issues.

Occupational therapy, specialist or intensive support, as well as psychological therapies are all ways we support people in the community.

Working in specialised services

Our specialised mental health services provide secure and intensive support for adults and young people with mental illness.

We have four units offering this service and we currently have one unit under refurbishment to become a low secure CAMHS unit.

    Learning Disability Services

We provide various for services for people with learning disabilities across Hampshire.

 We have community teams as well as inpatient units that assess, treat and support our patients.
