Living a life free from abuse and violence is a fundamental right.

The Safeguarding team includes specialist professionals who lead on all aspects of the health service contribution to safeguarding children, including Children who are in Care and Child Protection.

Safeguarding is about the actions we take to promote your health and wellbeing through delivering high quality care, and protecting vulnerable adults from the risk of abuse. Safeguarding has a high profile within the Trust and is ‘everybody’s business’.
