COVID-19 - Staff and Service Wellbeing Appeal

Thank you for considering donating to staff and service users at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your support is gratefully received; below is a list of the goods that we would be very grateful to accept.  These will be distributed for the benefit of our staff and service users.

Checklist of gifts that Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust can receive:

Care packages:               

  • Bath products for relaxing

  • Deodorant

  • Facewipes

  • Hair bands

  • Hand creams

  • Lip balms

  • Nail files

  • Shampoo & conditioner

  • Shower gel

  • Tissues

  • Toothbrushes  & toothpaste

Staff and service user well-being

  • Adult colouring books and pencils

  • Books, magazines & journals

  • Colouring and craft resources

  • Exercise products

  • Puzzle books

  • Relaxation chairs

  • Sleep masks

  • Stationery products

  • Stress balls / stress hearts

  • Tote bags / good quality fabric bags (for distribution of wellbeing packages)

  • Yoga mats

 Food & drink

  • Bottled water

  • Cereal

  • Coffee

  • Crisps

  • Dried fruit

  • Individually wrapped snacks (e.g. cereal bars, biscuits, cakes, sweets)

  • Soft drinks

  • Tea bags


  • DVDs

  • Games consoles

  • iPads and other devices

  • Music players / radios

  • Multi-phone charging ports

To donate any of the above items, please contact us to discuss:

To support the fair and equitable distribution of these items to staff, service users and patients, these items will be received, logged, stored and redistributed centrally.

*Please note that gifts that the Trust is not able to utilise for staff, patients or service users will be donated, at the Trust’s discretion, to charity and / or food banks

For donations of PPE and other clinical goods please contact (Head of Procurement) to discuss your donation.  This enables us to ensure that any gifted items are required and meet safety and Infection Prevention & Control requirements
