Key to ensuring that Quality Improvement projects are a success is the participation of all levels of staff and service users; their input is vital, and their absence can often mean that opinions, expertise, knowledge and experiences are not captured.

But don’t just take our word for it, hear what Liz Read, ward manager, had to say about the importance of creating time for staff to attend the QI workshops.

You can also hear from the staff involved, the impact it has had on them, and what advice they would give to those just starting a QI project.
