Malc Carpenter

I wanted to become a Governor because I have extensive work with the voluntary sector which has equipped me with many qualities of leadership that I could bring to the role of a Governor. I have been a Chairman of a local action forum for older persons and I am keen to share my knowledge and support with the Trust in this area.

As a local Councillor I feel I am equipped to deal with a range of tasks from my training as have  undergone a training and development programme which I feel can be adapted as and when to my role as a Trust Governor .

I am not afraid to ask questions, dig deep and scrutinise matters which I believe is key.  I consider my strengths to be commitment, leadership and a can do attitude to the task in hand.
