If you’re currently using our adult mental health services, you can speak to your care co-ordinator or other member of staff about making a referral to our rehabilitation services.
You will normally be assessed within 10 working days after your team has referred you to the service. An assessment helps us to better understand your individual needs.
How we can help
Our rehabilitation services are designed to help promote your wellbeing and recovery from a mental health illness.
Our teams will work closely with you to help you to understand and manage your condition more effectively. We can help you develop and practice the skills that are important to you. When you’re ready, we can also help prepare you to move into the community.
Some of our rehabilitation services are residential, meaning that you stay at the unit for the duration of your rehabilitation.
Most people will stay at a residential rehabilitation unit for around nine months, but the length of your stay will depend on your individual needs.
Other rehabilitation services help provide service users in the community with the facilities and support they need to focus on their recovery and personal development.
