We've merged!
On 1 November Southern Health formally acquired Oxfordshire Learning Disability NHS Trust.
If you were a Ridgeway employee, you have now been transferred to Southern Health. All the terms and conditions of your contract are protected under 'TUPE'.
As one organisation, this is the start of a really potent era for learning disability and social care services in southern England. With a larger range of services, pooled expertise and resources, we can make a big difference for people with learning disabilities across the region.
What happens next?
The transfer is complete, and we are officially one organisation. But there is still a huge amount to do to really release the benefits of our merger.
Looking ahead, our services will continue to change and improve, and we will become more integrated, offering a better experience for our service users.
Over the coming weeks, there will be lots of things for you to be aware of as a result of our merger, so we will keep these pages open to host this type of specific information for the near future.
