Referrals to older people's mental health services

Our Community Mental Health Teams provide help and support for older people with mental health needs.

 

Falls advice

All referrals should come through to the Community Mental Health Team via telephone, fax or post (If by phone, the office will ask you to follow up with written referral)

The referral will be reviewed by a duty clinician and given a status.

If considered urgent, the patient or carer will be contacted within one working day and a date for assessment will be agreed.

Non urgent referrals will be allocated to the appropriate clinician or team and the patient or carer will be contacted within 14 days.
