More and more people are deciding to Take The Leap and give up smoking and what could be a better present to your mum on Mother’s Day 18 March.
For one family in Hampshire it’s been a team effort to stop smoking. First dad, Peter Jeffery attended Quit4Life last September followed soon after by mum Jacqueline.
As the perfect Mother’s Day present Jacqueline’s son Aaron and daughter Tiffany has just joined them in stopping smoking using Quit4Life Hampshire.
The family who live in Andover are very proud of their achievements and hope to set a good example to their other son who is aged eight.
Jacqueline says: “It has been a real family mission and we’re all proud of each other. Quit4Life has really helped us through the first smoke free weeks and beyond and we’ve all been giving each other support and encouragement”
Now is the perfect chance to quit smoking with the help of Quit4Life.
Don’t forget that Wednesday 14 March 2012 is national No Smoking Day and our Quit4Life teams are getting out this week in the community to promote the free service to help smokers quit.
Quit4Life are offering FREE Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) for eight weeks. Most smokers who want to quit find that products like NRT patches and gum can be really helpful to get through the first smoke free weeks. On the day, the advisers will be offering advice on the different stop smoking products available and information on where smokers can get regular support from trained advisers to help you quit smoking for good.
