John is the Clinical Director of Integrated Community Services for Southern Health and a GP in Andover.
He will join 18 other fellows from across the UK in an 18 month leadership programme called GenerationQ to improve the quality of care for patients.

Southern Health is a Trust which is leading the way in finding innovative ways of improving care for people and putting them and their needs first. Penny Pereira, Assistant Director at the Health Foundation said: “GenerationQ will develop leaders that can recognise and use the current uncertainties in the NHS as a source for innovation. Their understanding and commitment to quality is particularly important in positioning them to lead when resources are being cut and people are feeling under pressure.”
