A summary of results from the division’s patient experience surveys are available to download.
The patient experience survey results used within the Trust provides patients and carers with the ability to answer an overall satisfaction question (utilising the national Friends and Family test where appropriate) and a small number of questions relating to how our staff engage with patients and empower them to take decisions about their own health and wellbeing.
Every month senior members of the division liaise with clinicians to identify the actions they have taken as a result of patient and carer feedback. It is through these actions that the Trust is able to demonstrate it is listening to patients and carers and constantly striving to find ways of improving the quality of care provided.
The “you said, we did” report summarises the main actions taken for the division. Local clinical teams are also encourage to publish “you said, we did” posters summarising all the local actions taken.
